The AMP-54R serves as the immediate successor to the AMP-51R, which was unveiled in 2016 as a 100-watt amplifier showcasing a range of innovative concepts and engineering endeavors. Subsequently, we have achieved notable technological progress, especially the introduction of the JET Bias—a proprietary software-controlled bias system.
This innovation has empowered us to engineer the AMP-54R with enhanced performance, stability, efficiency, and, notably, sound quality. In addition to incorporating cutting-edge circuits, we have also attained substantial breakthroughs in industrial design, enhancing aesthetics, precision, rigidity, and the overall build quality.
Through these engineering endeavors, the total volume of the AMP-54R has been decreased to almost half of its predecessor, the flagship AMP-51R, while preserving the identical output power. Moreover, the transformer power has witnessed a 25% augmentation, and the power supply capacitance has been doubled, now configured in a dual-mono setup.
Benefiting from the evolved JET3 Bias, derived from the AMP-23R's JET2 Bias, the updated software algorithm adeptly monitors and optimizes the output stage bias with heightened precision, leading to enhanced performance and efficiency across various conditions. Additionally, the heightened stability of the output bias circuit directly contributes to driving power, enabling the AMP-54R to effortlessly handle a broader spectrum of loudspeakers.
Furthermore, the AMP-54R integrates an advanced 32-bit CPU to execute the latest, more sophisticated software architecture, facilitating more precise control over all circuits.

The initial module is our exclusive current input phono preamplifier stage, designed to optimize the performance of MC cartridges through the utilization of current signals.
