Bauer Audio dps 3 turntable -base
Bauer Audio dps 3 turntable in white (without tonearm)
It sounds paradoxical: the DPS was born out of Willibald Bauer’s enthusiasm for the advantages of digital technology.
He wanted to build a turntable that sounds natural and lively but also as stable as a good CD player.
For this purpose, wow and flutter had to be reduced to a minimum, which was achieved by combining a stiff bearing with a high-torque motor. To keep vibrations away from the pickup, the dampening multilayer frame rests on polymer elements that decouple the drive from the ground.
The nicest thing about the DPS 3 is that in the end you no longer have to worry about technology but only about which record is next on your plate.DPS – “der Plattenspieler” (“The Turntable”) is the brainchild of Mr Willibald Bauer of Germany. The DPS was conceived as a culmination of his long experience in using and setting up several other turntable brands.
DPS was awarded turntable of the year in 2010 by the American magazine
